The challenges in the renewal of the permanent exhibit in Estevan Lodge were to present various facets of the life of Elsie Reford, founder of the Reford Gardens, and to highlight the heritage value of this former fishing camp, while making a clear distinction from the existing building to evoke the spirit of the place.
