The Marguerite-Michel bell, hailed as the “Liberty Bell”, summoned the Patriotes to arms by tolling the alarm during the Battle of Saint-Denis in 1837. Recognized for its historical heritage value in 1997, it was initially planned to lower the bell to the church grounds for physical and interpretive enhancement.
